Admission and Registration

 

  1. Normally admission is given only in nursery. Those seeking admission in Nursery should be within in the age of three on 1st March in the year in which admission is sought. Admission to other classes depends on vacancies, information of which will be available on the school notice board.

  3. The merit of the student is the only criterion for selection. The school does not charge capitation fee. Recommendation will not be entertained.

  5. A candidate eligible for admission should produce a birth certificate, aadhar card and two passport size photos along with duly filled admission form. once the form is submitted, no correction or change will be entertained at any stage.
  6.  

  7. The students coming from other schools must produce a T.C. in original from the school last attended, duly countersigned by appropriate authorities; DEO or Regional Officer of C.B.S.E.
  8.  

  9. NO DONATION IS ACCEPTED FOR SECURING ADMISSION IN THIS INSTITUTION.

  11. A student can be asked to discontinue the studies due to poor perfomance in studies, habitual idleness, behavioural problems, non compliance with school rules, failures in examination etc.

  13. If a student wants to leave the school, application for the T.C should be submitted 5 days in advance and T.C. will be issued only after clearing all the dues of the school. T.C. WILL NOT BE ISSUED DURING HOLIDAYS.

  15. The students who fail to remit the school dues in due time, will not be allowed to continue in the school.

  17. Admission fee is levied only at the time of new admission to any class and to class 1 from K.G. section and class XI from class X.
  18.  

  19. Parents and their wards seeking or obtaining admission to this school are presumed to have agreed to abide by the rules and regulations and standards of this institution.

  21. Any fee remitted to school shall not be refunded either in part or full. Admission fee is non refundable.

The Principal reseves the right of retaining students whose attendance is irregular, conduct harmful to others, full participation in co-curricular activities lacking or whose fees are not paid in time. Honesty, cleanliness of person and dress, good manners and loyalty are demanded of each student. Anyone not confirming to the school's ideals in these matters may, after due notice to grave insubordination and contempt of authority are always reasons for dismissal.

 

Admission and withdrawal (Senior Secondary)

 

Eligibility will depend on the following:

      ► Regularity in attendance and work during class X as well as good character.

    ► Mere academic performance will not make the student eligible for admission to class XI.

     

  1.  Admission form of Class XI will be issued after the declaration of CBSE Board result (X Classs).

  3. Admission to class XI will be open to those students only who clear the class X Examination in the first attempt itself without any compartment.
  4.  

  5. Merit will be the sole criterion for admission and admission forms will be available to those students only, who have the minimum required grade set by the school authorities in the respective streams, and mere procuring of admission forms will not be guarantee for admission.
  6.  

  7. Any failure to take admission within the stipulated time will be considered as cancellation of admission.
  8.  

  9. Any withdrawal after taking the admission will be governed by the rules regarding admissions and withdrawal.
  10.  

  11. St. Raphael Co-Ed School does not charge capitation fee in any form. Admission fee is chargeable once for all new admissions at any stage. However, students seeking admission in Std. I from K.G. - II of St. Raphael Co-Ed School is liable to pay Rs. 2000/- as re-admission processing fee. Students seeking admission in Class XI from Class X will have to pay Rs. 2000/- as re-admission.

Evaluation and promotion
  1. No student shall be absent during the evaluation and assessment and under no circumstances the evaluations and assessment will be conducted on a different date or out of turn.
  2.  

  3. Those absent from an evaluation and assessment will be regarded absent and that will affect their grading, consequently their promotion too.
  4.  

  5. Unsatisfactory progress in studies, insufficient attendance, misbehaviour, malpractices during the evaluation and assessment may keep a student debarred from the examination followed by disciplinary action. 75% attendance is mandatory.
  6.  

  7. A minimum of 33% of marks or grade not less than D in all subjects is required to be eligible for promotion.
  8.  

  9. Achievement Record will be shown to the parents after the evaluations and assessment to assess the performance of their work.
  10.  

  11. The results of the examinations will be declared only after the students have cleared all dues of the school.
  12.  

  13. Promotion is granted on the basis of the grades obtained in both the examinations as well as Unit Tests. The result declared at the end of the year is final. The minimum passing grade considered for promotion is D. This applies to all the classes. The compartment examination will be conducted only after the final examination for the students who fail to get the required grading for promotion as per the board guidelines.

  15. A student who fails twice in the same class, or fails in the board examination or get compartment will not be permitted to continue studies in the school.

  17. Students should obtain the hall ticket after clearing the dues that are due to school before giving the examinations.
  18.  

  19. Examination: Any student found resorting to unfair means and receiving and giving assistance in any form during Tests/ Examinations will be given Zero in the subject and a warning letter. Repetition of the same may result in dismissal from the school.
